Quarrington Depot | Paid Breaks | Ongoing Work
Pay: £15.98 per hour
Overtime paid after 40 hours: £19.97
Monday – Friday

Workmate Agency is recruiting HGV Class 2 Trade Waste Drivers on behalf of a well-established waste management company based at Quarrington Depot.
This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity offering consistent weekday work, paid breaks, overtime opportunities, and the potential to secure a permanent position.
The Role
You will be responsible for the collection and transportation of commercial waste using a modern fleet of Class 2 vehicles. This role involves early morning starts, regular routes, and delivering a professional service to customers while maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out commercial waste collections in line with scheduled routes
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure all collections are completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
- Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Health & Safety regulations
- Follow company procedures and waste management legislation

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of driver regulations and road safety
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual duties where required
The Ideal Candidate
You will be a reliable and safety-focused driver who takes pride in delivering excellent service. Experience within waste management is beneficial but not essential for candidates with the right attitude and work ethic.
