- This is an exciting opportunity to work with a long-established North London Housing Group.
The Role
The work will involve upgrading kitchenettes/ showers/ bathroom and general plumbing jobs across our portfolio.
The Person
- The ideal candidate will come from a maintenance & plumbing background and will have a good all-round ability. You will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a maintenance operative.
- You will need to have all road "multi trade & plumbing" skills and be able to carry out the following types of work:
- Fitting kitchen units & worktops
- Tiling & Bathroom fitting
- Reactive plumbing
- Water leak repairs
- Install & fix bathrooms
- Install & fix toilets
- Install & fix electric showers
- Tracing & fixing leaks
- Changing & fixing radiators
- Fitting taps
- Pipe work
- Fitting new piping for washing machines/ dishwashers
- Clear blockages & drains
- First and second fix piping for new projects
- Installing soil & vent pipes
Applicants must:
- Enjoy quite varied work
- Be able to think on their feet and problem solve
- Be a team player with good communication skills
- Be happy to work alone
- Have good organisational skills
- Have good time management
- Fluent in English
- Hard working
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trade
- You must possess good all round multi-trading skills
- Own tools required
- Good customer service skills
- Full UK driving license
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm; extra hours available on weekends and after hours
Ideally the role is for immediate start or ASAP
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £210.00-£225.00 per day
