G&P Healthcare is looking for a female care assistant to care for clients in their own home, joining established and welcoming teams.
Must be willing to travel to Newcastle area (NE6 NE3), Bedlington Cramlington and Ashington
Our clients are 24/7 packages of care and shifts will be 12 hours long. Our clients have varying conditions such as aquired brain injuries or Learning disabilities. All clients are 2 to 1 care so you will always be working with a colleague.
This post is full time and on a permanent contract. This post is enables you to be trained across all of our clients which will enhance your skills and bring variety to your role.
However, a degree of flexibility is needed for this post
Essential
- Car owner/driver
- ability to work days and nights,and sleeping nights if required
- has some flexibility
- previous care experience
- willingness to be trained by our nurses and team leaders on specific client needs
- has a caring nature
- Enjoys working in a team
- Able to retain information once trained
- Happy to move client shift at short notice if needed elewhere.
HOURS
36 hours - 3 x 12 hour shifts . An option to pick up more if shift cover required is always an option but no pressure to accept more hours.
