Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care in a dignified, respectful manner
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and safety
- Assist with meal preparation and light housework
- Offer medication prompts where required (non-administration)
- Provide companionship, conversation, and reassurance
- Help maintain a positive, safe home environment
- Work collaboratively with the team and communicate any concerns
What We’re Looking For:
- Able and willing to travel to and from the Eastbourne and Hailsham areas
- Evening and alternate weekend availability
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to work within and contribute to a team environment
- Compassionate and dependable, with a desire to support others
- Aligned with our core values: kindness, respect, reliability, and dignity in care
- Ability to advocate for oneself and others
- Understanding of working in a person centred manner
- Commitment to total privacy and confidentiality
- Prior care experience is not essential, but must show a basic understanding of our core principles (as above) and a willingness to learn and undergo mandatory training.
