Job Summary
We are recruiting Evening & Weekend Support Workers to support children and young adults with additional needs in their own homes and within the community.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help individuals build independence, confidence, and enjoy meaningful activities in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support within the family home
- Support young people to access the community and take part in fun activities
- Promote independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion
- Follow and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies
- Build trusting relationships with young people and their families
Working Hours
- Evenings and weekends
- Ideal for students or those seeking additional hours around a day job
Requirements
- Experience supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, and behavioural needs (essential)
- Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, reliable, and compassionate nature
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
