Role Summary
An opportunity has arisen within Salon Supplies, a professional hairdressing wholesaler, for a Store Assistant/Relief Driver, based at our Trowbridge Branch. This role is full time (37.5 hours a week) working Monday-Friday, the hours are flexible to suit the needs of the business and will be managed by the Depot manager (generally 8.00-4.30 or 9.00-5.30)
Key Job accountabilities
· Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
· Assembly of orders for dispatch to customers
· Answering the telephone and taking orders from all customers
· Invoice goods and raise credits to customers
· Serve customers in the Cash and Carry
· Taking card payments
· Cashing up and reconciling the till
· Helping unload deliveries
· Checking stock deliveries
· Assist in the filling of shelves in cash and carry areas
· Highlighting known stock errors and damages to the Store Manager
· Banking monies as required
· Open and close store as required (it may be necessary to work on your own at certain times)
· Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures where needed
· Be prepared to assist with store cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards as directed by Store Manager
· Key Holder
· Adhoc delivery driver relief cover as necessary
Essential Skills Required
· Excellent telephone manner

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Intermediate PC skills
· Full, clean driving license essential
