We are recruiting a Nursery Teaching Assistant to support a friendly and welcoming mainstream primary school in Caerphilly. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain hands-on experience in nursery education or build a long-term career in teaching support.
Your Role Will Include:
- Supporting children aged 3–4 in a nursery class
- Assisting with play-based learning and daily routines
- Encouraging social, emotional, and educational development
- Helping create a fun, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider team
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young children (nursery, early years, childcare, or school)
- A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine interest in nursery education
- Reliable, proactive, and adaptable
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- EWC registration (or willingness to register)
- Right to work in the UK
- Two professional references
