Nexus Recruitment are seeking a Senior Block Property Manager for an established real estate firm in Nottingham. Renowned for their industry-leading standards, strong staff retention, and supportive working culture, our client continues to grow from strength to strength. As a result of continued expansion, they are now looking for an experienced property professional to take ownership of a well-managed residential portfolio across the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking business where you’ll be supported by dedicated in-house accounts, administration, and finance teams, allowing you to focus on delivering an exceptional service to clients and residents alike. You will be responsible for the smooth and compliant management of a high-quality residential portfolio, ensuring service standards remain consistently high while building strong relationships with residents, clients, and contractors.
Core duties:
- Manage a portfolio consisting of a few hundred units
- Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring your portfolio is maintained to a high standard
- Prepare and manage service charge budgets and oversee year-end accounts
- Coordinate Section 20 major works projects from instruction through to completion
- Oversee contractors and ensure all compliance documentation and permits are in place
- Ensure your portfolio remains fully compliant with current leasehold legislation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Deliver a proactive, customer-focused property management service
Required skill-set:
- 3+ years private leasehold experience
- ATPI/MTPI qualified
- Personable with a proven ability to build a rapport with key stakeholders
- Clean UK licence and access to a car
