Responsibilities
- Providing professional hair styling and barbering services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Delivering excellent customer service by engaging with clients in a friendly, professional manner.
- Consulting with clients to understand their desired look and offering expert advice on styles, colours, and treatments.
- Maintaining a clean, organised work environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Managing appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client satisfaction.
- Building lasting relationships with clients through personalised service and attentive care.
- Staying updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling or barbering, with relevant certifications preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide clear advice.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a passion for the beauty industry.
- Organised individual capable of managing appointments efficiently.
- Prior experience working in a salon or barbershop environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates eager to learn.
