We are looking to recruit a meticulous PCB Inspector to join our well established client in the local area. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining printed circuit boards (PCBs) to ensure they meet industry standards and company specifications. The PCB Inspector will play a vital part in safeguarding product integrity and customer satisfaction through precise inspection processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed visual inspections of PCBs to identify defects, such as soldering issues, component misalignments, or surface imperfections.
- Utilise specialised tools and equipment to perform non-destructive testing and analysis on circuit boards.
- Document inspection results accurately and report any discrepancies or quality concerns to the relevant departments.
- Ensure all products comply with HACCP standards and adhere to safety and quality regulations.
- Assist in analysing inspection data to identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organised inspection area, following health and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and efficiently.
Experience
- Prior experience in electronic component inspection or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to detect minute defects on complex circuit boards.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and their application in electronics manufacturing is advantageous.
- Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance processes, standards, and documentation practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with inspection tools such as magnifiers, microscopes, or automated testing equipment is desirable. This role is ideal for proactive individuals committed to upholding high standards of product quality within a dynamic manufacturing setting.
The hours of work will be 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday
Please note training will be on days 8am to 5pm
Pay: £13.10-£14.43 per hour
