Mechanical Manager
Location: London & Home Counties
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Company Vehicle/Allowance + Bonus + Pension
About Us
We are a growing Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering high-quality building services projects across London and the surrounding areas. Our projects include residential developments, commercial buildings, hotels, healthcare and mixed-use schemes, ranging from £10k to £3m+.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple mechanical projects.
The Role
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for managing the mechanical installation from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple mechanical projects across London and the South East.
- Plan labour, materials and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Attend client, consultant and site meetings.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
- Manage procurement of mechanical materials and plant.
- Monitor programme progress and produce regular reports.
- Ensure all works comply with current regulations and company quality standards.
- Coordinate with electrical managers, site managers and design teams.
- Manage commissioning activities, witnessing and final handover documentation.
- Carry out site inspections and ensure health & safety compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Mechanical Manager within the building services industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, public health, plant rooms and commercial/residential mechanical installations.
- Experience delivering projects from £200k to £5m+.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage project budgets.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Manager Card.
- First Aid (preferred).
- Full UK Driving Licence.

Schedule

Experience
- Mechanical Project Management: 5 years (preferred)
- Building Services: 5 years (required)
