An exciting opportunity has arisen to help lead the strategic planning of Edinburgh's health and social care services.
This is a newly established post within the Strategy division of the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership, with responsibility for the day-to-day running of the planning team. You will manage a team of planning officers and support the development of high-quality strategic plans for transformation, service improvement and service delivery.
You will have previous experience of service planning in a health and social care context and a sound understanding of health and social care policy and legislation.
You will bring excellent communication skills and the ability to use data to develop evidence-based plans in complex, multi-functional environments.
You will be able to develop and manage strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and support the service manager for planning with the development and delivery of a strong planning function.
This is an integrated role, which means the successful candidate can choose between employment with the City of Edinburgh Council or NHS Lothian.

This position is subject to Basic Disclosure check. Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
