Total Sports Limited are looking to recruit highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about football and developing the skill of young players. Our Total Sports Football Camps run every school holiday, in venues across North, East and West Yorkshire. Our Summer camps run 20th July - 4th September 2026 and we are currently searching for candidates who have extensive experience coaching football, with either FA Level 1 or 2.
For our most exceptional staff, we have year round permanent positions available as Primary PE specialists in over 40 schools across the region, plus opportunities in our Head Office. We also run our Total Sports Football Academy on evenings and weekends, with hours available to those who demonstrate they are exceptional at developing talent and encouraging a love of the game.
Our Football Coaches gain invaluable experience working with children and are evaluated across 6 core themes. To be successful, applicants should demonstrate the ability to excel in the following 6 areas;
1. Programme Delivery
Plan & deliver our Total Football programme on our school holiday camps. Be responsible for creating a positive atmosphere for children, whilst maintaining effective supervision & a high level of care.
2. Communication & Reporting
Respond to incidents in line with our procedures. Be responsible for the Safeguarding of children in your care. Adhere to company policies at all times, ensuring consistent communication between camp staff, parents & Head Office.
3. Family Interaction
Foster effective relationships with families & children in your care. Go the extra mile for the families you serve, tailoring camp to match the needs of each child. Create an identity for the Football group on camp & promote their involvement in main camp when suitable.
4. Leadership
Inspire and motivate others to achieve their potential. Have excellent organisational skills & be able to make confident decisions both independently & as part of a team. Take ownership of and lead all elements of Total Football, under the supervision of your manager.
5. Professional Development
Be willing to use your experience & knowledge to enhance our football provision. Have a commitment to your own professional development, completing training & responding well to feedback.
6. Brand Awareness
Promote Total Sports values and adhere to brand standards at all times. Be punctual, prepared & willing to use your initiative. Be committed & enthusiastic in your role.
Those who work in October are offered contracts for future seasons, before we advertise vacancies elsewhere. We welcome applications from those available for Summer or beyond, but priority will be given for those available to work Summer.
