Marketing Executive – Venners
Location: Hybrid – 2/3 days in the Head Office in Harlow, Essex

Venners is a specialist stocktaking and inventory consultancy business supporting the hospitality industry across the UK. We provide independent, data-driven insight to help pubs, restaurants and hotels improve profitability, strengthen controls and make better decisions.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join our team. This is a broad, hands-on marketing role suited to someone who enjoys creating content, co-ordinating campaigns and events, and supporting business growth through digital channels.
You will play a key role in bringing our marketing plans to life — from writing articles and social posts, managing our website, to supporting our presence at industry events and exhibitions. You’ll have opportunity to learn, develop and shape your role as you grow with us.
You’ll have ownership of key areas (especially website and social channels), with support and guidance from the wider team.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for content development and storytelling in a B2B environment, and experience in maximising digital channels.
What You’ll Be Doing
You don’t need to tick every box below from day one — they are areas you will either bring experience in or learn with us.
- Content Creation: Write and edit engaging content across multiple formats:
- Website pages and blogs
- LinkedIn and social media posts
- Email campaigns and client communications.
- Website management and SEO (Search Optimisation): Use our CMS system to update and add content to our website. Optimise website content using keyword research and analysis. Monitor performance of our site using tools like GA4 and share insights and make recommendations in a clear, simple way.
- Social Media: Manage and grow our channels, including engaging with our audience to build brand loyalty.
- Events, Exhibitions & Industry Presence: Co-ordinate Venners’ attendance at industry conferences and exhibitions. Support the planning and organisation of stands, materials and logistics.
Skills & Experience

- Experience in marketing ideally in a B2B environment (1-2 years, but flexible depending on skills).
· Proven ability to write and edit high-quality content across different formats.
- Experience in using the following tools:
- Website CMS platforms
- Email marketing tools
- GA4
- SEMrush
- LinkedIn and Meta business tools.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Helpful Attributes (but not essential)
· A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.
· Curiosity about marketing trends and continuous learning.
· A collaborative approach to working with others.
· An interest in events, branding, and campaign planning.
- Keen to roll sleeves up and think laterally when required.
