Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Proactively generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Identify potential customers within our target industries.
- Present our products and services to prospective clients, highlighting their value proposition.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Account Management:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients.
- Conduct regular site visits to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, resolving queries and providing ongoing support.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
- Manage and maintain accurate sales records and forecasts.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and competitive activities.
- Develop a strong understanding of the thermal label printing and date coding market.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in a sales role, ideally with a focus on business development.
- Resilience & Drive: A highly motivated self-starter with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Organisational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Desire to Learn: Eagerness to learn about our industry, products, and solutions.
- Industry Experience (Beneficial): Prior experience in any aspect of label or labelling, including but not limited to label printing, application, materials or similar, would be a great advantage but not essential.
- IT Skills Knowledge of Microsoft packages
