KBH Haus is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Manufacturing Operative to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop a long-term career in the manufacture of bespoke joinery doors and windows. Full training will be provided across all aspects of production, with a particular focus on preparation, finishing, glazing, and assembly.
The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in the manufacture and finishing of high-quality bespoke joinery doors and windows, learning key skills in product preparation, glazing, assembly, spraying, finishing, and quality control. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will receive comprehensive training and support to develop your skills and build a rewarding career within our business.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the manufacture, preparation, and finishing of bespoke joinery doors and windows
Learn glazing and product assembly processes
Support finishing operations including sanding, preparation, spraying, and quality checks
Prepare products for finishing to the highest standards
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Maintain high standards of quality control and attention to detail
Follow health & safety procedures at all times
Work collaboratively as part of the production team
Training & Development
Full training will be provided in:
Product preparation and finishing
Spraying and coating application
Glazing and assembly processes
Product handling and quality inspection
Safe use of hand and power tools
Health & safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
Good practical ability and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work well within a team environment
Previous experience in manufacturing, finishing, spraying, construction, woodworking, or a practical workshop environment would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided
