About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to join our dedicated team, supporting a young adult with complex care needs in their own home. While experience working with complex needs and learning difficulties is beneficial, it is not essential—your empathy, compassion, and commitment matter most!

Shifts Available:
Term Time
Monday - Friday: 15:00-19:00
Waking nights 19:00-8:00am
Out of Term:
More hours available.
Day hours - £14.25 per hour
Night hours - £15 per hour
Your Responsibilities:
✔ Ensure the safety, well-being, and comfort of the individual at all times.
✔ Provide high-quality healthcare as trained, keeping their needs as your top priority.
✔ Encourage independence wherever possible.
✔ Maintain effective communication with the individual, their family, healthcare professionals, management, and your team.
✔ Engage the individual in stimulating activities that promote their interests and well-being.
✔ Maintain accurate care records and assist with personal care as required.
✔ Provide respite and additional support to guardians or parents.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Full UK Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Two valid references.
- Two forms of identification.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
- Willingness to work towards a Level 2/3 Health & Social Care Diploma.
Desirable (but not essential):
- DBS Certificate (Update Service).
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care.
