Primary Teacher
A nurturing SEMH school in Glossop are looking for a qualified Teacher to join their close-knit school, part of a friendly, well-established independent Group.
Job description:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons, to KS1/KS2 pupils with complex SEMH, ASC and other learning needs
- Alongside the curriculum, providing emotional regulation and sensory support
- Promoting independence and confidence through tailored, nurture-focused learning
- Tracking progress and contribute to EHCP processes
- Preparing pupils for transition to KS3
- Working hours: 8:15am - 4pm
- Starting September
- Salary: £27,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience and QTS)
Person specification:
- Experience of teaching, preferably in a SEN setting
- QTS or QTLS (desirable, open to unqualified teachers)
- Experience of adapting teaching to various needs
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Adaptable, resilient and empathetic attitude
