Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Sexual Health & Reproductive Health Nurse Practitioner to join a specialist healthcare service in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled clinician with experience in sexual health, contraception services, and reproductive healthcare to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality sexual and reproductive healthcare services to patients.
- Conduct comprehensive sexual health assessments and provide evidence-based treatment plans.
- Offer contraception advice, counselling, and contraceptive methods in line with clinical guidelines.
- Undertake STI screening, testing, treatment, and partner notification where appropriate.
- Promote health education, prevention strategies, and patient wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with professional standards.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated patient care.
- Support safeguarding processes and contribute to service development initiatives.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
- Previous experience working within sexual health, contraception, or reproductive health services.
- Competency in sexual health assessments, STI management, and contraception provision.
- Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Up-to-date clinical knowledge and commitment to delivering high standards of care.
