Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Track Marshall to oversee the smooth operation of events on the race track. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety protocols are adhered to, managing track activities, and providing excellent guest services. Duties
- Coordinate and manage track activities during events, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with race officials, drivers, and team personnel to facilitate smooth operations.
- Monitor track conditions and report any hazards or incidents promptly.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance among all participants and staff.
- Assist with guest services by providing information, directions, and support to spectators.
- Maintain organisation of track areas before, during, and after events.
- Support event logistics, including setting up signage and safety barriers as required.
- Manage emergency procedures in collaboration with event security and medical teams.
Skills
- Proven management experience with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong background in hospitality or guest services, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanour.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse teams and guests.
- Knowledge of safety protocols relevant to racing or large-scale events is desirable but not essential.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including weekends and evenings as required by event schedules.
