Hours per week: 36 Monday – Friday, normal working hours

Full UK Driving Licence and ability to transport equipment between sites.
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic AV Technician to join our team. You will help deliver high-quality audio-visual services across a wide range of events, meetings and live productions. This includes setting up, operating and maintaining sound, lighting, video and meeting room technology.
The role is hands-on and client-facing, requiring excellent customer service, problem-solving skills and a flexible approach. You will support live events, hybrid meetings, equipment maintenance and AV installations across multiple sites.
Key Requirements
- Experience working with audio-visual equipment in a venue, events or AV supplier environment.
- Strong knowledge of at least one AV discipline (Audio, Video, Lighting or IT/Networking) and a good understanding of the others.
- Experience operating AV systems, troubleshooting faults and maintaining equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, customer-focused attitude and willingness to work flexible hours when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and troubleshoot audio, video, lighting and livestreaming systems for events, meetings and council functions.
- Deliver hybrid and virtual meetings using platforms such as Zoom, Teams and webcasting systems.
- Maintain, test, repair and install AV equipment, ensuring systems are safe and fully operational.
- Liaise with clients and colleagues to understand requirements, provide technical solutions and deliver successful events.
- Manage AV support requests, equipment inventories and event administration, ensuring a high standard of service at all times.
