2fawcett Recruitment is supporting a growing security services business in the search for an experienced Security Service Engineer to join their expanding engineering team.
The Role
You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and fault-finding of a range of electronic security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems. The role also includes small installation works, system commissioning, and occasional site surveys.
You’ll be customer-facing, managing your own workload, responding to reactive call-outs, and supporting planned maintenance across key client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain electronic security systems
- Respond to reactive faults and service calls
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Install and commission small works projects
- Manage stock levels in your van
- Participate in an on-call rota
- Support site surveys and technical troubleshooting
- Maintain strong customer communication and service standards

- Experience working with electronic security systems
- Strong fault-finding and technical ability
- Calm, professional, and customer-focused
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach with willingness to participate in overtime/on-call rota
- Good communicator with a proactive attitude
