Deano's Italian American Restaurant is looking to grow its kitchen leadership team and is searching for Kitchen Shift Supervisors to help lead our busy Northern Quarter kitchen.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced chef, team leader or supervisor looking to develop their leadership skills and progress their career within a growing independent hospitality group.

The Role
As a Kitchen Shift Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading kitchen shifts, supporting the Kitchen Manager and helping to create a positive, organised and high-performing kitchen environment.
You'll play a key role in ensuring food quality, food safety, productivity and team development while leading from the front during service.
You'll:
- Lead kitchen shifts and coordinate the team to deliver efficient, high-quality service
- Set the pace during service and maintain a positive, motivated kitchen environment
- Coach, support and develop team members through day-to-day leadership
- Identify and nurture future talent within the kitchen team
- Support the Kitchen Manager with stock control, ordering and operational responsibilities
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness and compliance standards are maintained at all times
- Manage prep, organisation and shift planning to ensure smooth operations
- Work closely with the wider management team to drive restaurant performance and achieve targets

- Previous experience in a leadership role within a busy kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
- Someone who leads by example and enjoys developing others
- Calm and organised under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ambition to progress and develop within the hospitality industry
