Overview
We are looking for an experienced Folder / Guillotine Operator to join our busy Bindery team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality printed materials efficiently and accurately, ensuring all work meets customer specifications and production schedules.
You’ll play a key part in maintaining quality standards, minimising waste, and supporting smooth production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate folding and guillotine machinery to produce finished print work to a high standard
- Set up, adjust, and maintain equipment to meet production specifications
- Ensure all work complies with ISO 9001 and 14001 procedures
- Monitor production schedules and communicate progress or issues to Senior Shift Operators
- Identify and resolve machine faults quickly to minimise downtime and waste
- Accurately label and record completed work in line with procedures
- Maintain machinery through routine cleaning and maintenance
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and organised at all times
- Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Support and guide additional bindery staff when required
Working Hours
- Rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends, and public holidays)
- Typical shifts are 12 hours
- Flexibility required for overtime

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to understand production workflows and adapt accordingly
- Accurate counting and measurement skills
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices
Pay: £24,420.00-£33,000.00 per year
