Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SMT Setup Team Member to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing offline setup jobs for SMT (Surface Mount Technology) lines and supporting the SMT team to ensure efficient production processes.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and an interest in electronics manufacturing.
- Participate in daily team briefings to receive work schedules and priorities
- Prepare offline setups for SMT production lines
- Load SMT components onto feeders and prepare trolleys
- Validate setups before production use
- Interpret assembly drawings and item lists
- Identify components such as resistors, capacitors, and ICs
- Follow IPC-A-610 standards for surface mount requirements
- Adhere to static control procedures
- Work within company quality systems and frameworks
- Support other teams when required
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
- Attend training to develop skills and knowledge
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Good computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail
Desirable:
- Experience in a contract electronics manufacturing environment
- Understanding of electronic components and identification codes
- Ability to read engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Basic knowledge of quality control processes
