Job Summary
Reception duties, ensuring visitors are greeted warmly and directed appropriately and that policies regarding visitors to the site are followed correctly.
Telephone answering, ensuring calls are answered in a polite and timely manner and dealt with accordingly.
Greet and direct visiting drivers with the safe operation of barrier to allow access/exit.
Receive and record the booking in of deliveries and produce summary As necessary, the preparation of outgoing post ensuring correct postage rates applied.
Take answer phone off each morning and record and relay messages accordingly Put answer phone on each evening.
Provide assistance to Quality Assurance Department as needed to ensure compliance Arrange and prepare samples for courier despatch as required, together with the completion of any corresponding admin, which must be actioned in a timely manner.
Their part in store visits to buy samples and gather market information.
Their part in the collation of product samples for customer meetings and presentations.
Collation of market data to assist in product development and trend analysis.
Where necessary and as directed, liaison with suppliers to arrange samples and gather product details.
Accompanying the NPD & Sourcing Manager to customer meetings and exhibitions as and when necessary.
Their part in supporting the development of products from concept to launch.
Their part in arranging and being a part of taste panels, with the completion of relevant documentation.
Their part in the control of samples and stocks within the NPD cage, focusing on rotation and organisation, to facilitate the Product Development Process.
Their part in factory, packaging and transport trials, liaising with the wider team to ensure compliance.
Answer or direct staff queries to appropriate department.
Address housekeeping queries as necessary.
Provide assistance with printing, scanning, sending faxes, provision of labels as required.
Monitor stationery stocks and re-order as needed.
Collect and organise recycling of ink cartridges.
Carry out internal audits and assist with corrective actions and audit team meetings.
Operational involvement with any aspects of the company dictated by the needs of the business.
Liaison with the required recruitment agency as and when necessary, together with the authorisation of hours worked by agency staff.
Monitor and record staff absence and holidays Oversee the induction of new staff and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
Their part in staff training together with assistance with planning & delivery of continuous staff training to meet the needs of the business.
Their part in the maintenance of staff training records.
Their part in the promotion of equality & diversity as part of the culture of the organisation.
Their part in listening to employee conflicts and communicating issues to Group HR as necessary.
Their part of meeting the required industry audit standards.

Provide admin assistance to NPD & Sourcing Manager as needed, including report preparation and data entry as required.
Additional administrative and NPD tasks maybe required as necessary
Pay: £13.10 per hour
