Kitchen Assistant - Part time
This is great opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team.
Working within a brand new, state of the art premises, you will be supporting our catering team within our staff canteen, providing a high standard of service to our employees and external customers.
Schedule
· Part Time Hours 8/9am start – 1pm finish
· Fridays, Rotational Saturdays and Mondays preferred with additional days sometimes required to cover holidays etc.
The Role
· Assist in food preparation as needed
· Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and food prep areas
· Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
· Serving customers at counter
· Processing transactions through till
· Replenishing stock
The Person
· Previous experience in a similar position
· Relevant qualifications including basic food hygiene
· Good communication skills
· Ability to work well under pressure
