SEN Teacher - SEN, SEMH & PRU Settings

Empowering Learning is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Qualified SEN Teachers to work within a range of SEN, SEMH and PRU schools across the Manchester area.
We are seeking talented educators who are committed to supporting children and young people with additional needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive educational outcomes. Whether you are an experienced SEN specialist or a teacher with a strong background in inclusive education looking to transition into specialist settings, we would love to hear from you.
The Role:

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs

Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties and SEMH needs

Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
-
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required
-
Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, parents and external agencies
-
Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils' social and emotional development
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
-
Experience teaching pupils with additional needs, or a strong interest in SEN education
-
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
-
A flexible, patient and creative approach to teaching

Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
