Self-Employed | Commission Only | Hybrid (Remote + In-Home Sales)

We’re looking for a driven, professional salesperson to join our growing home-security sales operation, working with one of the UK’s most trusted brands – ADT.
This is a hybrid role, combining remote (telephone/video) consultations with face-to-face sales appointments in customers’ homes. Due to demand, we are recruiting one person based within the vicinity of Bristol to cover CF, NP, SA, HR, GL, BA and BS postcodes. Please ignore the map shown on the advert, as the successful applicant will be based within the region to allow practical travel to customer appointments throughout the territory.
The majority of opportunities are warm, inbound enquiries generated through ADT marketing activity. However, we are looking for someone who is proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to generate additional opportunities through referrals, recommendations and relationships built with customers and installation engineers.
The Role
- Selling ADT monitored alarm and CCTV systems to residential customers
- Handling warm inbound enquiries
- Conducting telephone and video consultations
- Designing tailored home-security solutions
- Attending face-to-face appointments in customers’ homes
- Managing your own sales pipeline from enquiry through to installation
- Closing sales and progressing customer orders

Essential Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Strong self-motivation and work ethic
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- Must be based within the Bristol area or surrounding locations to cover appointments across CF, NP, SA, HR, GL, BA and BS postcodes
- Willing and able to attend customer appointments in person
- Own vehicle and full UK driving licence required
- Comfortable working remotely and managing your own diary
- Company iPad provided
- Aircall business phone system provided
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience (telesales, field sales, in-home sales, B2C or similar)
- A consultative and customer-focused sales approach
- Comfortable working on a self-employed, commission-only basis
- Security, CCTV or alarm industry experience is advantageous but not essential
- Full product and sales training provided

Earnings
This is a commission-only sales role with uncapped earning potential.

Typical consultants within the business complete between 20 and 30 sold installations per month, although actual results will vary depending on individual performance, availability and commitment.
