Mobile Refrigeration Technician – North West England
£38,225–£42,244 + overtime + standby pay
About the Role
At CaterPro, no two days are the same. One day you're servicing soft-serve ice cream machines at a seaside attraction, the next you're diagnosing a walk-in freezer fault at a city-centre restaurant. We're a specialist commercial refrigeration company covering the North West, and we're looking for an experienced technician to join our small, close-knit team.
This is a Monday–Friday role with no unsociable hours and no working away.
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnosing and repairing commercial refrigeration systems (predominantly integral units)
- Servicing soft ice cream machines, display cabinets, slush machines, walk-in fridges/freezers
- Installing new equipment and providing customer training
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Remote/phone technical support during your one standby weekend per month
What We're Looking For
- F-Gas qualification — essential
- Good electrical knowledge (single and three-phase)
- Competent brazing ability
- Full UK driving licence + right to work in UK
- Professional, presentable, good with customers
The Package
- Company vehicle for personal use (no mileage charge)

- Guaranteed 40 hours pay/week
- Overtime at 1.5x (including standby callouts)
- 28 days leave + 1 extra day per year (up to 5)

Pay: £38,225.00-£42,244.00 per year
