Astoria Cinema. Ayr
A vacancy has arisen for a supervisor/duty manager to help run our busy cinema in Ayr, working up to 25 hours including evenigns and weekends.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years management/leadership experience minimum, preferably with cinema, theatre or hospitality background. With a proven track record of excellent levels of customer service, to help deliver and expand upon the cinema-going experience that our community deserves.
Duties include:
- Supporting General Manager as well as fellow supervisors and cinema staff
- Opening and Closing of the Cinema
- Projection Scheduling and Maintenance
- Providing exceptional Customer Service
- Monitoring cleanliness, health & safety and security of the building
- Cash handling, ticket sales and concession sales procedures
- Stock control and management
- Delegating queues and patron management
- Availability at weekends and evenings, including school holidays is essential
