Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping tasks up to trial balance level
- Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
- Assisting with statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
- Engaging with AI and automation tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
- Supporting the wider team on ad-hoc projects as you develop
Requirements
- A minimum 2.1 degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline - or strong A-Level results (3 A-Levels minimum) for school leavers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Interest in AI capabilities and scope for efficiency improvements
- Highly organised with the ability to manage deadlines
- A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
