Lendrick Lodge is a renowned international holistic retreat centre nestled in the heart of the Scottish Trossachs, with over 30 years of nurturing transformative experiences. As we embark on an exciting new chapter of growth, we're looking for a passionate and talented Head Chef to help shape the next era of our kitchen. This position will initially be 4 days a week, with the potential to increase to 5 days a week.

Key responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality vegetarian lunches and dinners, with creative vegan options and a full range of dietary accommodations.
Lead and inspire kitchen volunteers, fostering a positive, efficient team environment.
Uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in line with health regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to develop exciting new menus and seasonal specials.
Oversee inventory and place ingredient orders to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Train and mentor new kitchen team members on cooking techniques and safety procedures.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is well-maintained and operating at its best.
What we are looking for
Strong culinary skills with proven experience in food production and preparation — 3 years minimum.
Specialist knowledge of vegetarian and vegan cuisine, with creativity across diverse dietary needs.
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Exceptional organisational skills and an eye for detail in presentation and quality.
A collaborative spirit balanced with confident leadership.
Flexibility and openness to evolving menus and guest preferences.
