We are seeking an experienced and dynamic B2B Timber Sales Manager to lead our sales operations within the timber industry. This role involves developing and maintaining strong business relationships with corporate clients, driving sales growth, and overseeing the sales team to achieve strategic objectives. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our B2B timber client base across designated regions.
- Manage and lead the sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Utilise Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to track sales activities, analyse client data, and generate reports for management review.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and optimise sales strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring favourable terms for both parties.
- Collaborate with logistics and production teams to ensure timely delivery of timber products aligned with client expectations.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our timber solutions.
Skills
- Proven management experience within a sales environment specialising in B2B transactions.
- Strong knowledge of the timber industry or related sectors is highly desirable.
