Daily Supply & Long-Term SEN Teacher Positions Immediate Start
Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN teacher with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are seeking Daily Supply and Long-Term SEN Teachers to join our team.
We currently have exceptional opportunities for daily supply and long-term SEN teaching roles across a range of primary schools and specialist provisions in Slough, Berkshire. These roles involve supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties, ensuring continuity of learning and care in the absence of permanent staff or across longer-term placements.
As a Daily Supply or Long-Term SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering adapted lessons, implementing individual education plans (IEPs/EHCPs), managing behaviour using positive and trauma-informed strategies, and creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. This position presents a fantastic opportunity to further develop specialist SEN skills and gain experience across a variety of settings.
Pay starts from £154 per day, based on experience and performance. Working hours are typically from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals
- Proven classroom and behaviour management skills, with an understanding of differentiated and inclusive practice
- Experience implementing or working alongside EHCPs and individual support plans
- Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced SEN environment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
