Summary
Due to expansion we are seeking a skilled Field Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This role is essential for ensuring the functionality and reliability of our office equipment across various client locations. The Field Engineer will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellent service and support, ideally some Ricoh and Sharp experience is required.
Please do not apply if you have no photocopier repair experience
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of digital copiers and printers.
- Diagnose equipment issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Provide exceptional customer service while addressing client concerns and inquiries.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment status.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in equipment repair, particularly in office machinery.
- Strong understanding of schematics and technical documentation.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools.
- The ability to network MFP devices to print and scan
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients.
