Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in our care home Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you care for. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary, promoting nutritional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the health status of clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other team members to ensure a high standard of care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively within the team.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans diligently.

Post is for 24 hrs a week and there will be the opportunity to cover other shifts for extra hrs This will include alternative weekends
Pay: £12.21-£12.71 per hour
