Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Porter to join our housekeeping team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our hotel environment, ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay. Responsibilities
- Assist with the general cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards
- Ensure all communal spaces are tidy, safe, and presentable at all times
- Support housekeeping staff by transporting linen, cleaning supplies, and guest luggage as required
- Respond promptly to guest requests related to cleanliness or other porter services
- Maintain health and safety standards throughout the hotel premises
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests and colleagues
- Physical fitness to carry out manual tasks such as lifting and moving items
- A positive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
