Overview
As an Automotive Upholsterer, you will be responsible for creating exceptional car interiors by skilfully wrapping leather materials onto various components, such as seats, door panels, consoles, headliners and other interior surfaces. You will collaborate with our design and production teams to ensure that our customers receive top-of-the-line automotive interiors that exude sophistication and comfort.
Full supervision will be given during training.
Salary: Rate of pay negotiable depending on experience and skill level.
Requirements
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and sewing leather materials.
· Attention to detail to be able to deliver precise and flawless finishes.
· Able to work in a calm, confident and efficient manner.
· Excellent time management skills in order to meet deadlines.
· Understanding of safety protocols and practices in the automotive industry.
Experience
· Upholstery: 1 year(preferred)
· Sewing Machine: Able to use at a competent level (preferred)
Schedule
· 8-hour shifts (40 hours)
· Monday-Friday
· 9.00am-5.00pm
