The Community Fundraiser plays a senior operational role within the community fundraising portfolio, supporting defined areas of activity and delivering significant income targets.
The post holder will manage a portfolio of mid-value community supporters and hold ownership for defined areas of the community portfolio, including agreed campaigns and supporter segments, with responsibility for income performance and optimisation.
Working closely with the Community Fundraising Manager, they will contribute to income growth, supporter retention and performance optimisation across the community portfolio, ensuring an excellent supporter experience at all stages of engagement.
Knowledge and experience
Essential
· Experience of delivering community fundraising activity or similar income generating campaigns.
· Proven track record of achieving income targets.
· Experience of managing supporter relationships, including mid to high value supporters.
· Experience of monitoring income performance and reporting against target.
· Experience of working collaboratively across teams.
Desirable
· Experience of working within a hospice or charity environment.
· Experience of working with volunteers or ambassador programmes.
· Experience of contributing to campaign planning and development.
