To co-ordinate, facilitate and assist with the implementation of all aspects of quality for Clinical Haematology. To work with the clinical haematology team to assist the Quality Manager, as the co-ordinating specialist, for all quality measures in clinical haematology. To coordinate and maintain quality initiatives for JACIE accreditation as a Peripheral Stem Cell Collection Facility and Autologous Stem Cell Transplant Centre.
Ensure SOPs are document controlled, reviewed and re-issued in a timely manner, according to the document control SOP
Ensure that third party contracts are regularly reviewed and fulfil national regulatory requirements.
Assist with the review of adverse incidents reported in relation to stem cell collection / storage / transplantation and coordinate the implementation of any recommendations resulting from the review.
