Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is highly desirable but not crucial. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to the highest standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends if required
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
