Job Summary
MON TO FRI - 7am till 2.30pm
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Breakfast Manager to oversee the morning prep and service at a Kanteen space we have secured Stoneyard Building site, in Digbeth.
- Oversee all aspects of breakfast service, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Coordinate daily operations to ensure timely and efficient service during busy morning hours
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Manage food production processes, including ordering supplies and stock control
- Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before serving to guests
- Handle guest enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Assist in menu planning and introduce new breakfast offerings to enhance guest experience
- Monitor cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising or managing within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience in team management with excellent leadership qualities
- Familiarity with restaurant or hotel service standards, particularly breakfast service
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef, barista, or food production is advantageous
- Hospitality experience including serving guests and managing a team in a fast-paced setting is preferred
