Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join our well-established client based in the Monmouth area.
This role presents a unique opportunity to become part of a hardworking and supportive team within a well-established manufacturing and packaging company. The business specialises in producing a wide range of packaging solutions, including heavy-duty corrugated cardboard boxes, cardboard pallets, and specialist packaging products for industrial sectors such as battery manufacturing.
Job Description:
As a Machine Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing and packing process, ensuring products are produced to a high standard and prepared for dispatch. You will be working within a fast-paced production environment, operating machinery, monitoring production lines, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Following all site health and safety procedures and standards.
- Operating and monitoring production line machinery and equipment.
- Packing finished products safely and efficiently.
- Conducting quality inspections on finished goods.
- Identifying and removing faulty or damaged products from the production line.
- Following production specifications and work instructions.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Assisting with general production duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Own transport is essential due to the location of the site.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
