Job Summary
We are a leading manufacturer of Quarry & Material Handling equipment seeking a skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly of heavy construction equipment using both hand and power tools, ensuring that all components meet quality standards. This position requires a solid understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work efficiently in a workshop environment.
Duties
- Assemble components and products according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
- Report any defects or issues with materials or equipment to supervisors promptly.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking parts used during assembly.
Qualifications
- Experience of 3 years working with Crushers, Screeners, Conveyors or other construction equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand hydraulics & electric systems.
- Powerpack & Screen assembly experience an advantage but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina, as the role may require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
