Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: London — Southwark / Lambeth / Tower Hamlets / Leathermarket
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor on behalf of our client to carry out risk assessments across domestic and commercial properties.
This role is focused on surveying water systems, identifying risks, and producing detailed reports, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and industry standards.
You will play a key role in supporting compliance with ACoP L8 and HSG274, providing clear recommendations to minimise risk and maintain safe water systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting Legionella risk assessments across a range of properties
- Producing detailed, compliant risk assessment reports and schematics
- Identifying risks and providing practical remedial recommendations
- Ensuring compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274, and relevant legislation
- Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure high service delivery
- Supporting audits and maintaining accurate documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor
- Strong knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
- Relevant Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Experience surveying domestic and/or commercial water systems
- Strong report writing and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional and customer-focused approach
