The post holder will take on a shared responsibility for all aspects of administrative work in a busy office environment. Working as part of a small team to exceed client expectations in an independent family funeral directing and stone masonry business.
The role is predominantly computer based, so computer literacy is essential (Word, Email, Excel).
The post holder will often be the point of contact for bereaved families, either on the phone or in person – so a compassionate, professional approach is needed. Discretion and respect for confidentiality is at the core of the job role. The post holder will become a key and valued member of the team, providing office-based support for the funeral director. The role is varied and would benefit an adaptable individual, comfortable and capable of responding to situations as they arise.
The ability to work autonomously, prioritise workload and meet administrative deadlines is essential.
Rates of pay negotiable and dependent on experience and skillset.
