An opportunity has arisen in our South Midlands region for a Contracts Manager/Senior Contracts Manager to assist the Regional Director with managing the day to day activities of the region.
The main duties will include (but not limited to):
- Managing the landscaping, fencing and maintenance teams daily - including organising schedules on a day to day basis, ensuring materials for site have been ordered in good time, setting the teams up in the morning ensuring they know what work needs to be done
- Booking in works each day and liaising with the Office Co-ordinator to ensure they are on the sales forecast
- Visiting sites daily to ensure work is being completed to our high standards
- Liaising with customer Site Managers and Quantity Surveyors to keep up relationships and ensure we are meeting expectations
- Pricing and securing small works around the sites that we are working on. This will include pricing of landscaping and fencing works
- Managing owned and hired plant
- Completing regular stock takes
- Understanding RAMS documents and overseeing, managing and enforcing Health and Safety procedures
The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, passionate about landscaping and a have a desire to develop themselves in the position. Previous experience in a similar role is required. CSCS card and a UK driving license are essential.
The role comes with a company car/car allowance
Pay: £37,500.00-£45,000.00 per year
