Join an industry‑leading international organisation and play a key role in keeping our engineering operations running smoothly. We’re looking for a skilled General Maintenance Fitter to support day‑to‑day breakdowns, planned preventative maintenance, and installation work across our site.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responding to engineering breakdowns and ensuring minimal downtime
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
- Supporting equipment installations and improvement projects
- Working safely across confined spaces, heights, and varied plant environments
What You’ll Need
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent)
- Welding Qualification – ideally City & Guilds 3268 Level 3
- FLT & MEWP licences
- Confined Space & Working at Heights training
Development & Pay Progression

After completing your 6‑month probation, you’ll undertake a formal competency assessment.
✔ Pass successfully and your salary increases to £42,000.
Working Hours
- Mon–Thurs: 8:00–17:00
- Fri: 8:00–15:15
- Total: 39.5 hours per week
