Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented commercial Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards for our bakery.
Duties
- The successful candidate must be aware this role includes heaving lifting
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to an exceptionally high standard
- Duties include, but not limited to: dusting, scraping, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean, hoover and sanitise restrooms, kitchens and office including communal areas to high standards
- Clean
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Break down and dispose of all cardboard
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial bakery / food establishment cleaning or janitorial work
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
